Creating standout for Puma X JD

We helped Puma strengthen its retail partnership with JD Sports and stand out in a crowded multi-brand retail environment with the Puma Smart Wall. A total retail display and content distribution platform, it’s designed to elevate the brand, establish coherent footwear displays and serve-up product relevant storytelling for consumers – when new shoes are in their hands or at their reach. Now implemented into more than 100 JD Sports stores globally, another 100 are planned through 2020. An enhanced version, the Puma Power Wall is also rolling out in JD Sports’ New York and Paris flagship stores

How we used a building’s rich heritage to elevate Puma for its retail customers

Puma’s HQ in Manchester occupies one of the oldest industrial buildings in the city – Canada House. Puma set us the challenge of transforming part of this iconic space into a showroom for marketing its women’s collection to its retail buyers. 

Our solution was to create a flexible, feminine space, where the gym meets the catwalk – a creative collaboration between a Grade 2 Listed building and a global sports brand. A soft industrial aesthetic provides the perfect background to a fully reconfigurable space that can switch easily from informal meeting area to full-blown fashion show. The merchandising system makes it easy for staff to showcase different tiers of product for different retail partners.
